"My feet would rather walk out of time"
"My feet would rather walk out of time" traces the development and representation of the portraits of selected artists. In their approaches, the representation and temporary fragmentation of the human body becomes visible through the display of sculpture and collage.
The title "My feet would rather go out of time" is taken from the German writers Georg Büchner's play 'Leonce and Lena'. The quote illustrates the desire of the artists, to get outside of history and to go into the realm of the wilderness and the unformed, in order to oppose the return of the ‚ same old same old‘.
